Education: BS in geology (excepted Spring 2020)
Research interests:
My primary research interests include igneous and metamorphic petrology, planetary science, and geochemistry. I am highly interested in studying meteorites, the terrestrial planets, and their moons. In the past, I worked with University of Nevada, Las Vegas professors, Dr. Pamela Burnley and Dr. Shichun Huang, to study metamorphic and igneous processes respectively. My undergraduate senior thesis will focus on understanding the textures, composition, and source of shergottite NWA 12241. I will use classic petrology methods to study shergottite NWA 12241, including microprobe and LA-ICP-MS analyses.
